How To Complete A Make-Up

1

Read a variety of current articles in our Programs section and/or choose articles from our Archived Programs list and/or information from our Avenues of Service pages. You will be required to answer questions.  There is space on the makeup request form for up to three articles to be reviewed, however you will need to read more than three to meet your 30 minute visit obligation.

2

At the end of your 30 minute visit click on Make-up Request Form from the drop-down menu at top of page OR the bottom of each make-up program.

3

Read Makeup Request Form carefully, and follow instructions. A Make-Up Form will appear once you press the SUBMIT button (one time only) and an email copy will be sent to the email address you provided.

PRINT YOUR MAKE-UP FORM

Once your make-up appears, if you know the email address, you can also click on File, Send and email a copy to your club secretary.

Where do we go from here?
Now that we all have reviewed the results of our club’s 2016 visioning effort – what’s next?
Collaboration was the top response getter.  Are we are track?  Have we accomplished any of the items listed?  Do we need to elevate any of the listed responses to a higher priority?
How about our next two response getters?  We came close to the Tag Days in 2017 and surpassed it in 2016.  50-65 members.  50 by 50!
Should any responses be elevated and others dropped or reimagined?  What direction do we/you see the club moving towards in the next 3-5 years?
CCH stay the same?  Food Distribution stay the same?  Fund raiser stay the same?  Rotary Groundhog Day movie in the making…
While we do not have to change just for change sake (thank goodness because CCH is awesome!); it is the strength of Rotary to constantly try and improve the project, increase efficiencies and continue to serve the public.
Think thru and reflect on these items as our meeting on March 30 will be a review and updating of the vision plan.
Interact Update
This year Creekside Middle School has been the home of Rotary's Interact program.  The goals for the program this year have been to provide opportunities for the students at Creekside to get involved not only in their school but in their community.  The group is made up of 12-15 students in grades 6 - 8 with dreams of making positive change.  So far  students have raised money alongside Woodstock Rotary for Christmas Clearinghouse with Tag days, facilitating Coin Wars in the building and raising over $1,000 to buy gifts.  The students then designed and executed "Purple Pinky Friday" in which they raised money to have eradicate Polio internationally.  This fundraiser brought in nearly $200 which was matched by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.  This month the students are focusing on Random Acts of Kindness, spreading kindness around the school.  The Interact Club hopes to continue making positive change in their school and their community with other upcoming opportunities for Earth Day and beyond.
