ROTARY CLUB OF WOODSTOCK ANNOUNCES ANNUAL
ROTARY YOUTH LEADERSHIP AWARDS (RYLA) CONFERENCE
The Rotary Club of Woodstock is now accepting applications for the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) Conference.

RYLA was established by Rotary International to build the next generation of future leaders for high school students who have demonstrated leadership skills or shown the potential to be leaders by their active participation in groups and/or organizations.  Students attending RYLA will be given an opportunity to explore and further develop these leadership skills.  Participants will be involved in a 3-day program held at Edwards Camp & Conference Center in East Troy, Wisconsin on either one of two weekends held on March 12-15 or April 2-5 of 2020.  During the 3-day RYLA conference, students will explore their own leadership style, personal strengths, learn skills to help identify community needs and develop an appreciation for community service.

The Rotary Club of Woodstock will award sponsorships for 6 (six) high school students to attend the 2020 RYLA Conference.  Sponsorships will cover costs for transportation, food, supplies, and camp housing.  To be eligible, a student must live within Woodstock Community School District #200 enrolled as a Freshman-Senior attending either 1) Woodstock High School; 2) Woodstock North High School; and/or 3) Marian Central Catholic High School.  Grade appropriate Home School students may also submit applications.

All necessary application forms are available at all 3 High Schools and from Pete Michling.
