It's a very upsetting wake up call when one sits down to write the bulletin and in the process of editing the bulletin writers list, realize that we have lost our bulletin writer head organizer. Kent will be missed by all of us. Support the family as best we can as a tribute to Kent. Keep CCH in mind as we approach the fall season. The Santa Hut is nearing completion and is a visual reminder that Christmas is not far off. We haven't passed Halloween yet, but the year ends rapidly once we get by the goblins and witches. The good news is that we will be inducting three new members into the club. We can always use fresh ideas and new faces. Member recruitment is everyone's job and we need new members to off-set the normal attrition, which occurs in all clubs. First Friday Socials are a great venue to invite prospective members so that we get to know them in person in an informal environment. The next two First Friday Socials will be in the Old Court House. The Brewery and The Public House will be the destinations, however the order is to be determined. Keep Mimi and the Frisbie family in your thoughts. Get out and walk in the woods. The exercise and the fresh air will help us all heal from the recent tragic events. The woods area constant reminder that life goes on, inspite of all that happens around us. |
