Live auction items and all items to be presented at the BEACH PARTY EVENT WERE TO BE TURNED IN LAST WEEK. IF YOU STILL HAVE SOMETHING THAT YOU HAVE NOT REPORTED IN CHECK WITH THE APPROPRIATE COMMITTEE AND SEE IF IT CAN STILL BE PUT ON THE ROSTER FOR SATURDAY'S EVENT. THIS IS OUR MAJOR FUND RAISER ALONG WITH THE REVERSE RAFFLE. THESE TWO EVENTS FUND OUR HUMANITARIAN ENDEAVORS FOR THE UP COMING ROTARY YEAR. IF WE DON'T MAKE THE MONEY THIS WEEKEND THEN OUR ACTIVITIES FOR THE UP COMING YEAR WILL BE CURTAILED.

THIS WEEK'S MEETING WILL BE HELD AT BLDG "D" AT THE FAIRGROUNDS. BE PREPARED TO TURN A MUSTY OLD POLE BARN INTO A FESTIVE LOOKING PARTY PALACE. COME WITH IDEAS AND ENERGY AND WE WILL BE ABLE TO TRANSFORM BLDG "D" TO NEW LEVELS OF EXCITING FUND RAISING ENERGY.

The theme of this year's fundraiser will focus on how we are building community here and around the world. For over 50 years, the club has influenced the lives of others across the globe via our youth exchange program and global service projects. We educated our guests at last year's auction of "Why Rotary" and it's important this year to make the connection of how Rotarians and local donors reach beyond our community to create a better world.

Get your purchasing groups together to bid on: Chicago Bears tickets with overnight accommodations. Chicago Cubs tickets. Vacation to Belton Lodge. Beer tasting and tour at Crystal Lake Brewing. And the list goes on…

Let's make this year's auction the most successful fundraiser to date!
