Update from Luke - Chief Bulletin Writer -
[The response to Luke's posting this job description was so effective, I am leaving it up for one more week.]
Thank you to Kim Keefe, Scott Brix and Diana Frisbie for stepping up and joining the Bulletin Crew. We are still looking for two more people.
This month Lloyd Shaw needed to step out of the bulletin writing rotary due to impending shoulder surgery.
Last week was my turn to write. I was waiting for some information to get to me regarding the recent Gavers event, which arrived Thursday Morning. I began to write the bulletin before leaving for lunch and I fell ill. Thank you to John Buckley for writing back to back weeks. GREATLY APPRECIATED!
Phil McKown is still in the writing rotation.
John Buckley is still in the writing rotation.
The need is real. When everyone is writing once every 8 weeks, it is not a big deal and it is fun. Writing every three weeks is a schedule, with no room for illness, spouse illness, vacations etc.
Many of you are good writers. Many of you have access to information that would make an interesting bulletin. We do not need an all Rotary news bulletin week after week. News about the city. News about the chamber. News about the square. News about the conservation districts around the county.
We only need 5 more writers to get to 8. You’ll be glad you did.
