The publishing of the by - law amendments is for your review. YOU need to contact YOUR board of directors to let them know if the changes should NOT be made. Or if you want other adjustments. Othewise, the board will be voting on the amendment changes at the August 16th 2023 board meeting. Which of course WE are all invited to zoom in on. 7:30 am.
Notice to the membership to propose an Amendment to the
By-laws for the Membership Meeting not earlier than Friday August 11, 2023, to change the By-laws.
Article 2: Board
The governing body of this club shall be the board consisting of four members of this club referred to as officers, namely, the president, president-elect (or president-nominee, if no successor has been elected), secretary, and treasurer. At the discretion of the board membership, elected in accordance with article 3, section 1 of these bylaws, also added can be the Avenue of Service directors, namely: Club, Community, Vocational, International, Membership, and Youth directors; also added as a director can be a Public Image director (who
will serve as the chairperson of the Public Image Committee) in accordance with article 3, section 1 of these bylaws; and the immediate past president shall continue to serve as a director for 1 year following their Presidential term.
