First Friday Social

This Friday, September 4, 2015 kicks off the three day Labor Day weekend.  Why not start it off with a mug of your favorite drink at Ortmanns Red Iron Tavern.  On the corner of Church and Clay Streets!  It begins at 5:00 pm (or whenever the first Rotarians arrive) and ends about 6:30 (or whenever the last Rotarians leave).  Discuss Rotary.  Discuss which Chicago Pro Baseball team will make the playoffs.  Discuss the Old Courthouse on the Historic Woodstock Square.  Discuss whether we as a constituency should be able to vote on consolidating the townships in McHenry County from 17 to 8.  Quick-should a move such as this cost the taxpayer more or less?  Depends on where you live they say.  Call your county board member and tell them what you think.
