Words of wisdom for the New Rotary Year

This was copied from Luke's excellent comments and ideas for the New Year.  I couldn't do any better, so here it is again.

Let us all work to support Rotary, New president Tom and his board.  Where are the board meetings going to be held this year?  Let’s all try and attend one more meeting than we did last year.  Even you perfect attendees!!!  Hats off to them as always.

Membership and fellowship is the success of our club.  The weekly meeting is the key.  Sit at different tables with different people.  I am guilty of sitting with some of the same people too often, but I just can’t seem to shake them…Ha!

Hey, let’s also remember to let the speaker know if we have to leave the meeting early.  Turn those cell phones on to vibrate.  Bring a guest.  Bring a potential new member.  Wear your Rotary shirt on Mondays – Thursdays; not on Friday.

Hey, who has inside access to Ryder Cup tickets?  Get them for next year’s auction!!!  Should we come up with a new theme or stick with Beach Party?  70’s?  Disco?  Western?  Costume party?
