Fellow Rotarians,

Please join us on Saturday, November 7 at 9:00 AM as the Rotary Club of Woodstock dedicates a new community Peace Pole in honor of our longtime fellow Rotarian and friend, John Hudson.

The dedication will take place at Rotary Triangle, Illinois Route 120 at N. Madison and Newell Streets and will last approximately 30 minutes.

This is a special opportunity not only to recognize John and his decades of commitment to peace and understanding, but also to share Rotary's message of peace with the greater Woodstock community.

We'd love to see a strong Rotary presence that morning! Please wear your Rotary shirt, jacket, hat or other Rotary swag and plan to arrive a few minutes early.

We also need your help spreading the word. Please personally invite others to join us, especially members of your church or faith community, neighbors, friends, family members, colleagues, civic organizations and others you think would appreciate being part of this dedication. The event is free and open to everyone.

The Peace Pole will display the message "May Peace Prevail on Earth" in English, Spanish, Polish and Tagalog, reflecting both the diversity of Woodstock and the universal nature of its message.
