In case some of you are new to techno language and need to ask your grandkids to help you cypher the language of our current day, here is are two commonly used abbreviations--LOL and LOA. I am currently on LOA because my wife is recovering from open spine surgery and I have volunteered to be available. LOA means Leave of Absence. LOA is usually granted whereby we continue to be a member of Rotary with full rights to continue paying our Rotary Club dues but not our weekly meal charges. We are also permitted to maintain our Rotary friends, office duties, Spinning Wheel dispatches, and parking privileges at WWC (when available).
