This is week 9 and Round 5 of chemo. This week and next are the chemo med Methotrexate. It is a longer stay in the hospital - but the effects are less than the Cisplantin weeks. We are hopefully breaking free this evening. On Monday, Myles and I met with the surgeon to plan for his surgery. That date has been set - May 5 - which is keeping with the original timeline laid out back in February. With the uncertainties around CoVid-19, there was a possibility that surgery could be delayed. That is good news. There is one more round of chemo next week - another dose of Methotrexate, so Myles will be back down on Monday again. Yesterday was a full day - we had a consult with the plastic surgeon that is part of his surgery team (she is going to be moving part of his calf muscle around to use to reattach the knee cap and tendons) a nuerology and a cardiology consult as well. In the afternoon, we played a new board game - King of Tokyo. I won. Today may include more of that or some Magic The Gathering, some cartoons and fingers crossed - a departure.
