Pamela Altoff's Update on Illinois

Last Friday we wore fortunate to have Pam Althoff give us an update on the state of the state as seen from her eyes as a state representative. It was quite a presentation which gave me  the impression that the problems of the state of Illinois are not soon to be solved. I only wish our legislators to decide to work for the good of their constituents and not just for their own longevity as politicians. We have a Republican Governor with the legislature controlled by the Democrats. this is a recipe for  a non productive government.  Perhaps in the next election some more seats in the legislature will be changed and some true governmental changes will actually start to occur.
