Polio Setback in Nigeria

There have been two detected cases of the WPV1 type of Polio virus in Nigeria in July. This is the first WPV1 detected in Nigeria since July 2014. A special response plan is currently being set up to deal with this new development. There is also an immunization day planned in Nigeria from October 18-26 which Jolene White has informed us about.  This shows how important it is to stay on top of our immunization plan in order to keep any spread in check immediately.
