Reflections on CCH ’25 from John H
Since joining Rotary Club of Woodstock, and subsequently getting involved with Christmas Clearing House, I’ve been a volunteer, observer, songwriter, and CCH chair-in-training. What stands out most to me is the hard work, dedication, and spirit of giving alive in all who participate, from team leaders to D-Day drivers and everyone in between. I just want to say congrats to everyone on a successful Christmas Clearing House 2025!
Having attended team wrap-up meetings while shadowing outgoing chair, Laura Culotta, some of the top buzz words have been efficiency, succession, and outreach. The teams leaders are all working to improve the efficiency and work flows under their supervision, while keeping pace with evolving data and community need. I am reassured seeing that you are all ‘on top of it’, looking for improvements, and training your successor(s). CCH has evolved over the years thanks to everyone who has served tirelessly. When speaking about CCH to non-Rotarians, I have also encountered those who, like me until recently, didn’t know about CCH or what it stands for. It is my hope that, during my time as chair, I can identify new ways to increase CCH awareness and participation within the community. Laura C will soon announce a final wrap-up meeting which all are welcome to attend. In the interest of always growing forward, your feedback and insights are welcomed.
Keep up the great work!
John H
