Make-Up Online

Rotary eClub One
How To Complete A Make-Up

1

Read a variety of current articles in our Programs section and/or choose articles from our Archived Programs list and/or information from our Avenues of Service pages. You will be required to answer questions.  There is space on the makeup request form for up to three articles to be reviewed, however you will need to read more than three to meet your 30 minute visit obligation.

2

At the end of your 30 minute visit click on Make-up Request Form from the drop-down menu at top of page OR the bottom of each make-up program.

3

Read Makeup Request Form carefully, and follow instructions. A Make-Up Form will appear once you press the SUBMIT button (one time only) and an email copy will be sent to the email address you provided.

PRINT YOUR MAKE-UP FORM

Once your make-up appears, if you know the email address, you can also click on File, Send and email a copy to your club secretary.

Remember, as Greeter this week, you need to arrive at Olivers, to register visiting Rotarians, and guests (collect guest lunch fee of $16.00).  You also provide the pre-meal prayer, check attendance, announce guests and visiting Rotarians, manage the marble drawing and provide "Fun & Frolics."  If you are unable to fulfill your greeter obligation, please contact the next person in the greeter rotation to take your place.

Stories
Simon Says "Look Up"
Up above is lots of good information - our Board for the current year and our Greeter roster for the next three weeks.

Simon Says "Look left"
Our Club Service guru (Luke for those of you who did not look up per Simon's instructions) asks that you be sure to read the left hand column to be up to date on programs - both this week and forthcoming.

There are occasional changes (see below) to the calendar and Luke wants you to be up to date with the latest happenings. For example - when I looked at the schedule on Monday Cara from the Yoga Lounge was coming on April 7. But yesterday afternoon, Cara moved to April 21 and our very own Steve Reick is the program for April 7.

Also if you look left, you will see upcoming events - like First Friday and the next Jeep raffle drawing at Kishwaukee Brewing on April 7.

And I'm sure the Secretary (Laura - again for those who didn't look up) would like for you to know the make up options you have for attendance purposes.

So be sure to look left every week when the Spinning Wheel comes out.

Ch-ch-ch-changes
To quote Ferris Bueller - Life moves pretty fast https://youtu.be/DPP7DKkXD3k

Last week, the Board voted to move our weekly meeting location back to Woodstock Country Club. This change will be effective April 7. More details will bec forthcoming at the Mar 31 Club Assembly which will also be our final meal at Oliver's.

In the meantime look out rock and rollers and enjoy a little David Bowie  (I'm sure you can guess the tune.)

Summer Intern Wanted

It was a big week - Denise celebrated turning 60 and Mac celebrated turning 21 by going to The Gym, The Library and Church.

It's that time - we are looking for our next summer intern. If you know of a college student interested in a paid internship learning about our community - our businesses, our nonprofits and our Rotary Club, please pass them on to Laura.

This spring, Mac is taking what he learned from his time with Denise and Gaver's and working on the 0.0K to create a fundraising event in Iowa City to raise money for his club soccer team. He grew a great deal last summer through the internship and is applying that to life. Let's be sure to continue to help grow future Rotarians.

Jeep Raffle Update
From Tom M -

The team sold six tickets at Sunday's gun show, leaving us with 270 to go. Those 270 tickets represent a year's worth of Blessings in a Backpack, Operation Warm and a couple of grants to area nonprofits serving our community.

The Farmer's Market opens on April 29 and there is another gun show on April 30. A SignUp will be coming out soon.
