Make-Up Online

Rotary eClub One
How To Complete A Make-Up

1

Read a variety of current articles in our Programs section and/or choose articles from our Archived Programs list and/or information from our Avenues of Service pages. You will be required to answer questions.  There is space on the makeup request form for up to three articles to be reviewed, however you will need to read more than three to meet your 30 minute visit obligation.

2

At the end of your 30 minute visit click on Make-up Request Form from the drop-down menu at top of page OR the bottom of each make-up program.

3

Read Makeup Request Form carefully, and follow instructions. A Make-Up Form will appear once you press the SUBMIT button (one time only) and an email copy will be sent to the email address you provided.

PRINT YOUR MAKE-UP FORM

Once your make-up appears, if you know the email address, you can also click on File, Send and email a copy to your club secretary.

Remember, as Greeter this week, you need to arrive at Woodstock Country Club early to greet members, visiting Rotarians, and guests (collect guest lunch fee of $14.00).  You also provide the pre-meal prayer, check attendance, announce guests and visiting Rotarians, manage the marble drawing and provide "Fun & Frolics."  If you are unable to fulfill your greeter obligation, please contact the next person in the greeter rotation to take your place.

CCH Planning Update
The steering committee met on Saturday, Feb 16 and got the visioning underway. We started with a video of presentation by Simon Sinek on Why. You can see the video here - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IPYeCltXpxw

In the coming week, the committee will be identifying the different stakeholders who we want to ask for feedback and ideas about CCH. A second group is designing the surveys that we are sending them.

The members of the club are one group of stakeholders, so keep an eye out for your survey in the coming couple of weeks.

Beach Party 2019
It is only 66 days away!  It is not too early to start thinking about our major fundraiser.

The annual event will be on Saturday, May 11th at the Fairgrounds, Building D.
  • Have you thought of a live auction item?
  • Have you started soliciting basket auction items?
  • Remember it takes all of us to have a successful event.

Just a few reminders for Beach Party.  Get new attendees for your table to expose new people to Rotary and to what we do.  Let's try for some new live auction items this year.  Keep the good ones and add new exciting things to bid on.  Come up with items that interest several people so that competitive bidding occurs.  Remember the basket items that you were interested in the last time you were at a fund raiser, and pack your basket accordingly.  Try and keep Friday of the event weekend open for decorating duty.

Country Ramblings:
This past week I had several reminders that Spring is not far away.  The geese were flying in pairs rather than just in flocks.  My first Red Wing Blackbird appeared and staked out his territory in the prairie.  The male Cardinals started to sing.  And the Sand Hill Cranes were flying and vocalizing.  They obviously hadn't seen the Wisconsin/Michigan weather forecast.  Clean out the Blue Bird houses and get ready to enjoy some warmer weather.  See you on Friday.
