Make-Up Online

Rotary eClub One
How To Complete A Make-Up

1

Read a variety of current articles in our Programs section and/or choose articles from our Archived Programs list and/or information from our Avenues of Service pages. You will be required to answer questions.  There is space on the makeup request form for up to three articles to be reviewed, however you will need to read more than three to meet your 30 minute visit obligation.

2

At the end of your 30 minute visit click on Make-up Request Form from the drop-down menu at top of page OR the bottom of each make-up program.

3

Read Makeup Request Form carefully, and follow instructions. A Make-Up Form will appear once you press the SUBMIT button (one time only) and an email copy will be sent to the email address you provided.

PRINT YOUR MAKE-UP FORM

Once your make-up appears, if you know the email address, you can also click on File, Send and email a copy to your club secretary.

Remember, as Greeter this week, you need to arrive at Woodstock Country Club, to register visiting Rotarians, and guests (collect guest lunch fee of $20.00).  You also provide the pre-meal prayer, check attendance, announce guests and visiting Rotarians, manage the marble drawing and provide "Fun & Frolics."  If you are unable to fulfill your greeter obligation, please contact the next person in the greeter rotation to take your place.

Club Happenings
And the big winner was our own resident bean counter Ron Jarvis.  Nice to see the winner local.  Congratulations to Ron.  I'm sure a round of drinks for the club at our first Friday event will be forth coming.  Speaking of which, First Friday event will be at  Kishwaukee Brewing for those that wish to toast or roast Ron.  Your choice.  5:30 or whenever you can get there.  The lucky $500 winners were as follows: Janice Schmitt, Bill Hansen, Craig Russell, Decanick Randall. A couple local names in the list.  Thankyou to all who bought tickets.  A complete sell out again.  Great job by the committee.

Spring has arrived and the much needed rain has freshened up the landscape.  Take time to get out and walk the nature trails before the mosquitos take over.  If you want to see Eagles raising their young ones, take a drive west on Kishwaukee valley road and it will turn into Woodstock road as you get West.  After the left / right turn, look to the South over a small pond into the wooded area and there is a large nest about 100 yards south of the road.  The parents are busy feeding the young.  Neat site!

We are back at the Woodstock Country Club this Friday.
Madame Governor's Installation
The countdown continues to Marlene's installation as District Governor and Joe McDonough's as Club President.  Thirty-eight days until June 27. The event starts at 5:30 and is going to be in the Old Courthouse Center.

All tickets are the same price - $75 and includes cocktail hour entertainment, grazing table and cash bar, dinner and the ever popular ice cream bar for dessert. Everyone has to pay the full price to attend - no deferred payments, no checks. (Friday members - you were not charged for this Friday's meal in your quarterly billing to keep everything clean.)

Be sure to select your entree - pork loin, chicken marsala or the stuffed portobello mushroom (which is the gluten free, vegetarian option) when you order.

Get signed up and show your support for our inaugural District Governor and our 57th Club President.
June 20
And speaking of our Club's Installation Dinner.

We are doing something special on June 20 at our lunch meeting - our own Pre-Installation celebration where we will recognize and honor our club members with our annual awards (because we will not be able to do it at the Installation dinner the following week.) Be sure to make that meeting and celebrate our members for all that they do.
Survey
President Laura asked that you be reminded to be on the lookout for the upcoming club survey through Survey Monkey. This is an important step as the club continues to move forward. Your input will help Joe, Jackie and Barb in their respective years as Presidents.
