How To Complete A Make-Up

Read a variety of current articles in our Programs section and/or choose articles from our Archived Programs list and/or information from our Avenues of Service pages. You will be required to answer questions.  There is space on the makeup request form for up to three articles to be reviewed, however you will need to read more than three to meet your 30 minute visit obligation.

At the end of your 30 minute visit click on Make-up Request Form from the drop-down menu at top of page OR the bottom of each make-up program.

Read Makeup Request Form carefully, and follow instructions. A Make-Up Form will appear once you press the SUBMIT button (one time only) and an email copy will be sent to the email address you provided.

PRINT YOUR MAKE-UP FORM

Once your make-up appears, if you know the email address, you can also click on File, Send and email a copy to your club secretary.

Remember, as Greeter this week, you need to arrive early to ZOOM members, visiting Rotarians, and guests (collect guest lunch fee of $15.00).  You also provide the pre-meal prayer, check attendance, announce guests and visiting Rotarians, manage the marble drawing and provide "Fun & Frolics."  If you are unable to fulfill your greeter obligation, please contact the next person in the greeter rotation to take your place.

The number one comment was:  I heard it on the radio station!  Rock On!
   Who needs handlers?
 
The number two comment heard was:  I’m a first-time driver!
   The community support of this project is unbelievable.
 
The number three comment was:  This is my second/third/fourth time thru today.
   The community support of this project is unbelievable.
 
The number four comment heard was:  I’ve delivered multiple years for CCH.
   The community support of this project is unbelievable.
 
The next comment heard after the top four was:  THIS PROJECT IS AWESOME!!!

ALSO-BIG THANKS to the MOOSE for doing breakfast AND for delivering lunch to Ortmanns for the Rotarians and CCH helpers who were there. 
FYI - for the new members: NO CCH or Rotary funds were used to pay for the festivities at Ortmanns.
FYI # 2 – for all members:  Rotary handles the CCH funds with great responsibility.  Rotarians handle the information of CCH with great responsibility.
 
 
CCH COVID questions to ponder while on Christmas break
 
Tag days 2019 or Tag days 2020?
 
Loading all vehicles with 2 units (2020) or deciding on the fly as the vehicle pulls in the lane (2019)?
 
Food gift cards for milk, bread, fruit (2020) or acquiring, organizing, packing, loading milk, bread, fruit (2019) Consider the vehicles and the drivers…
 
Toys bags random and only 2 families per vehicle (2020) or Toy bags organized by street location and number per vehicle decided on the day of (2019)?
 
Prepackaged and boxed meals (2020) or heavy and difficult to pack in a vehicle food basket (2019)
 
Consider before selecting your answer:
  1. Record Giving in 2020.  Was that in response to COVID-19 or is there a sustainable level above pre-covid giving?
  2. Record load out time of the vehicles on D Day (not that this is a goal).
  3. Sorting of toys and filling food baskets builds community support and awareness.
  4. Compilation of the list:  WOWZA Shawna!  You did a Service above Self Rotarian job.

  • Chop Suey Hut (donating $1 per special cocktail and dessert back to CCH (go get an ice cream cocktail TO-GO!); will also make an additional monetary donation; will host signage and put flyers on orders)
  • Desserts + Stuff (making a specialty cookie bundle for CCH; half of the revenue comes back to CCH for each bundle sold -- her cookies are pieces of art!)
  • Foundry Farm (making a special room spray; sales will benefit CCH)

  • Copy Express (printing signage, posters, flyers at a nice discount)
  • Your Sister's Tomato (sent us a check and are attaching our QR code / text-to-give flyer to their orders)
  • Apple Creek Flowers (gorgeous specialty arrangement; order by December 15 and then you choose your pick-up / delivery date; $25 of each bouquet comes back to CCH)
  • Casting Whimsy Tea (cutest lil' shop! She made a specialty mulling blend (think hot cider) and is donating $2 of each back to CCH)
  • Hattie & Myrt (we chatted on Thursday; they want to choose a week in December and donate back some of the sales % back to CCH)
  • Advia Credit Union (very generous monetary donation)
