A message on behalf President (and CCH Chair) Laura - As of this morning, we have raised a little over $43,000 with appeal donations coming in every day. Tagging at the Winter Market, Product Partners and new this year, Jackie's Coin Wars between Woodstock manufacturers are still to come. Thank you to Kim, Lynn and everyone who gave their time to support Tag Days. We raised over $8,200 on three cold days and and one frigid night. Plus Tim Benoy secured a $500 match to Tag Days bringing that total to almost $8,700. And for more good news, Kim already has ideas and plans to make next year even better. We had our best Giving Tuesday yet (despite issues with the giving platform) raising over $17,000 with the Studio D match. If you looked at GiveLively, you will see Marlene worked with Denise to create different levels leading to a more compelling message when donors got there. As always, Rotary is a team effort and everyone in the club is making a difference, but special thanks in these first days to Lynn for her work on the appeal, Kim for Tag Days, Joe McD for Coin Wars, Marlene for Giving Tuesday, Breanne for creating the Rotary Christmas tree at the Opera House (be sure to get over there and vote with your dollars for our tree,) Denise for her design work (the ads in the Independent look great) and Shawna (and Lynn & Jackie and NLD) for our Elf Hut float in the parade. And of course Roscoe for his money management. (That's how we know we have raised over $43,000 so far) See the story below (and check your email) for more CCH information. (This was written by the bulletin writer, please direct any omissions in recognition to him.) |
