How To Complete A Make-Up

1

Read a variety of current articles in our Programs section and/or choose articles from our Archived Programs list and/or information from our Avenues of Service pages. You will be required to answer questions.  There is space on the makeup request form for up to three articles to be reviewed, however you will need to read more than three to meet your 30 minute visit obligation.

2

At the end of your 30 minute visit click on Make-up Request Form from the drop-down menu at top of page OR the bottom of each make-up program.

3

Read Makeup Request Form carefully, and follow instructions. A Make-Up Form will appear once you press the SUBMIT button (one time only) and an email copy will be sent to the email address you provided.

PRINT YOUR MAKE-UP FORM

Once your make-up appears, if you know the email address, you can also click on File, Send and email a copy to your club secretary.

Remember, as Greeter this week, you need to arrive early to greet members, visiting Rotarians, and guests (collect guest lunch fee of $15.00).  You also provide the pre-meal prayer, check attendance, announce guests and visiting Rotarians, manage the marble drawing and provide "Fun & Frolics."  If you are unable to fulfill your greeter obligation, please contact the next person in the greeter rotation to take your place.

Club Happenings
Our Club:  Important directive--- Back to the Country Club for weekly meetings.  A big thankyou to Laura for doing a great job in arranging opportunities for us to visit areas around town to have our weekly meetings.  It not ownly was informative for our club members but it was a great way to advertise Rotary and our Woodstock Rotary Club.  Also first Friday social will be at Liquid Blues.  Be there or be square.
Riko:  My grand daughters 4-H Club is doing a unit on Japan---its people, its food, its commerce, and its daily life.  So I suggested that we had an expert on Japan right here in Woodstock,  Riko.  It was a perfect situation for Riko to visit the club meeting and make a presentation about her home country.  The kids were shy at first, but Riko won them over rapidly.  She did a wonderful job explaining about life in her country and shared her daily routine during school days and on weekends.  They soon discovered their school routine is pretty soft compared to Rikos.  The kids asked great questions and she  eagerly answered.  What a wonderful example of our Rotary Exchange Program.

Club concerns:  Please keep Pastor Tom and John Buckley and his family in your thoughts and prayers.  There will be many tough days ahead and our support will be needed.

Spring:  In spite of Woodstock Willy, Spring is coming soon.  Spotted Blue Birds and Redwing Blackbirds this week.  The days are definitely getting longer and the sun higher in the sky.  The tulips and daffodils will be popping soon.  Don't quit on the bird feeders.  The migrating birds might stop for a bite and their way north.  Get out side and go for a walk.
