There is space on the makeup request form for up to three articles to be reviewed, however you will need to read more than three to meet your 30 minute visit obligation.

At the end of your 30 minute visit click on Make-up Request Form from the drop-down menu at top of page OR the bottom of each make-up program.

Read Makeup Request Form carefully, and follow instructions. A Make-Up Form will appear once you press the SUBMIT button (one time only) and an email copy will be sent to the email address you provided.

Remember, as Greeter this week, you need to arrive at Woodstock Country Club to register visiting Rotarians and guests (collect guest lunch fee of $16.00). You also provide the pre-meal prayer, check attendance, announce guests and visiting Rotarians, manage the marble drawing, and provide "Fun & Frolics." If you are unable to fulfill your greeter obligation, please contact the next person in the greeter rotation to take your place.
No More Oliver's- We are going back to Woodstock Country Club as of April 7! If you would like gluten-free or vegetarian or vegan (or have a guest attending with those dietary requests), please call WCC by 11:00 a.m. the day of the meeting and make the request (815-770-5356).
First Friday and Early Bird Drawing on April 7 - will be at Kishwaukee Brewing at 5:30 with drawing at 6:30. El Chido Street Tacos will be there with food options for the evening. Let's come together to socialize and enjoy the company of Rotarians and friends.
April 29 is District 6440 Spring Training Assembly - The registration page is live! Are you ready for the coming Rotary year? Whether you are taking on next year's leadership role for the first time, or you are a seasoned veteran, or you are someone who is interested in finding out about club leadership roles, please plan to join us on April 29 (9:00 a.m. - noon) at Harper College. We will start with an opening general session featuring incoming Rotary International President Gordon McInally followed by role-based elective breakout sessions where we will review roles and responsibilities and share ideas. This will be followed by an optional session for clubs that want to do internal planning for next year.
Flower Power, Plus. . . - I (Natalie) met a gracious, inspirational woman recently. Her name is Nada Lunsford, and she is the founder of Steven's Home, a financially-self-supported homeless street outreach effort which provides basic needs & services information. Steven's Home believes every human being deserves dignity, respect, and love! The organization strives to engage and build trust with those they meet through outreach and provides direction to life-enhancing information and services to build self sufficiency, self worth, sobriety, and a permanent home. If you are planning on a garden, adding flowers, looking to incorporate pollinators, etc., please consider purchasing online via this link. Purchases support the good work that Nada and her organization (Steven's Home) is doing -- much of it right here in our very own community. Why "Steven"? I asked and was given this response: "Steven was my ex-husband and was homeless for over 15 years. When he called to tell me he was diagnosed with cancer, I went and got him and brought him home and cared for him so he could reconnect with our children and his family and die with peace, dignity, respect, and love. No human being should feel so lonely and alone ever -- let alone when they are sick with cancer. Steven died knowing he was very much loved, and he died in peace with himself and his family."
