How To Complete A Make-Up

1

Read a variety of current articles in our Programs section and/or choose articles from our Archived Programs list and/or information from our Avenues of Service pages. You will be required to answer questions.  There is space on the makeup request form for up to three articles to be reviewed, however you will need to read more than three to meet your 30 minute visit obligation.

2

At the end of your 30 minute visit click on Make-up Request Form from the drop-down menu at top of page OR the bottom of each make-up program.

3

Read Makeup Request Form carefully, and follow instructions. A Make-Up Form will appear once you press the SUBMIT button (one time only) and an email copy will be sent to the email address you provided.

PRINT YOUR MAKE-UP FORM

Once your make-up appears, if you know the email address, you can also click on File, Send and email a copy to your club secretary.

Remember, as Greeter this week, you need to arrive early to ZOOM members, visiting Rotarians, and guests (collect guest lunch fee of $15.00).  You also provide the pre-meal prayer, check attendance, announce guests and visiting Rotarians, manage the marble drawing and provide "Fun & Frolics."  If you are unable to fulfill your greeter obligation, please contact the next person in the greeter rotation to take your place.

Rotary International’s Presidential Message
The following are excerpts from the July 2020 President’s Message in The Rotarian.  Every great challenge is an opportunity for renewal and growth.    The COVID 19 crisis has forced all of us to adapt. This is is good, and our new Action Plan specifically call on us to improve our ability to adapt. But adaptation is not enough. We need to change, and change dramatically, if we are to face the challenges of this new age and provide the Rotary that the world so desperately needs.
This is our great challenge, not just in the next year but into the future. It is up to us to remake Rotary for   these new times— to wholeheartedly embrace the ideas, energy, and commitment of young people eager to find an outlet for idealism. We must become an organization fully enmeshed in the digital age, not one that simply looks for on line ways to keep doing what we have always done.
I think the above is a good challenge for all of us, however, it would have been better if he suggested that we should be embracing people of all ages not just young people. Some of us old farts are also eager to find an outlet for our idealism and our experiences can be invaluable in helping to maintain Rotary on  the right track.
