As Greeter, please arrive early at Woodstock Country Club to welcome and register visiting Rotarians and guests, and collect the $20 guest lunch fee.
You will also:
Take attendance
Offer a brief reflection or words of gratitude before the meal—something thoughtful in the spirit of Rotary service
Introduce guests
Manage the marble drawing
Lead “Fun & Frolics
If you’re unable to serve on your scheduled date, please contact the next person in the greeter rotation to arrange a substitute.
The countdown is underway to Marlene's installation as District Governor - and Joe McDonough's as Club President. Sixty-five days until June 27. The event starts at 5:30 and is going to be in the Old Courthouse Center.
The official event registration has been created and as members and spouses of the Rotary Club of Woodstock, you get limited early access (basically until I get around to putting it on the District website and sending out the official invitation.)
Here is your chance to get in on the ground floor. All tickets are the same price - $75 and includes cocktail hour entertainment, grazing table and cash bar, dinner and the ever popular ice cream bar for dessert. Everyone has to pay the full price to attend - no deferred payments, no checks. (Friday members - you were not charged for this Friday's meal in your quarterly billing to keep everything clean.)
Be sure to select your entree - pork loin, chicken marsala or the stuffed portabello mushroom (which is the gluten free, vegetarian option) when you order.
Here is the sign up link to sell tickets on the Square next Saturday during Farmer's Market. The Jeep will be located by the clock on the southeast corner of the Square where the Santa Hut was.
Will Roscoe be in the house this Friday? He may be MORE than willing to do Fun & Frolics this week. Who knows? What I know is that it is Ellen's birthday!
