At the end of your 30 minute visit click on Make-up Request Form from the drop-down menu at top of page OR the bottom of each make-up program.

Read Makeup Request Form carefully, and follow instructions. A Make-Up Form will appear once you press the SUBMIT button (one time only) and an email copy will be sent to the email address you provided.

Remember, as Greeter this week, you need to arrive at Woodstock Country Club, to register visiting Rotarians, and guests (collect guest lunch fee of $18.00). You also provide the pre-meal prayer, check attendance, announce guests and visiting Rotarians, manage the marble drawing and provide "Fun & Frolics." If you are unable to fulfill your greeter obligation, please contact the next person in the greeter rotation to take your place.
In case you missed the last six weeks of Rotary - it's Delivery Week! Which means there is a lot going on.
Shawna gave up hours and hours of sleep to get the list ready - we are at 1,250 (roughly) families, nearly 2,000 children and 70 seniors. So we will be making over 1,300 deliveries on Saturday.
Tom took possession of the warehouse yesterday and he, Jill, Al and their crew were busy getting it ready. Toys are being counted, sorted and packed over the next few days. Check with Tom to see if he needs help.
We making food boxes this year, no gift card. This is happening on Thursday at Ad Bag - 1510 Lamb Road

(Duke's Inferno is hosting it's Product Partner event on Thursday as well so plan on getting dinner out after packing all those boxes.)
On Friday we meet at the warehouse for lunch. Studio D is joining us to do a check presentation which will be streaming live on Facebook (thanks Marlene!) This will be a chance to recognize a great partner of ours and push for drivers for D-Day.
Saturday is D-Day. If you have not heard from Tom regarding work at the warehouse, please drive - and get your friends and families to drive. At 7 deliveries a minute (which is our average) we have more than 3 hours of work ahead of us - just getting cars loaded. There is still the post work that Denise and Shawna do with returns and the cleaning of the warehouse.
The Moose is hosting their annual pancake breakfast for delivery drivers and bringing breakfast for the warehouse volunteers. Thanks to Joe, Lynn and Dave for working the Moose for the club.
Then - once we are wrapped up - on to the Moose to join Joe, Lynn and Dave for our annual celebratory lunch and beverages.
Sometimes, we get caught in the work, the details, the challenges and it is good to step back.
This our video from 8 years ago that Rob McClurg made for us. It was when were at the old Farm & Fleet with a second operation up at Greenwood Elementary. There are many familiar faces in there, old friends, young kids who are all grown up, exchange students. Take a five minute break and watch the video. It is well worth the time.
If you have not been at Rotary or read the Spinning Wheel for the past several months our new Hut is built, in place and is very well received by our community - and beyond.
I got this email from someone I know who was planning on going to the Crystal Lake Santa until I told her about us -
"Best day ever!! Thanks again for sending this along and thank you and the entire Rotary team for a great experience in the fantastic new house. Everything was right on time, so no waiting in the cold. We'll be coming back every year! And maybe next year the kids will actually take a picture without us....(see attached.) Santa is still a little scary for them."
Much thanks to Scott who signed up for this Saturday's shift and Jackie who took on this Sunday. We have just two more spots to fill for elves - this Friday - Dec 15 and the following Thursday Dec 21. Come be part of giving hundreds of children and families a joyous experience. And if you aren't available, is there someone you know who would love this chance to be part of Christmas?
We got the numbers from the Red Cross for our blood drive last week. The Quantity Not Sufficient was the bulletin writer. I clotted up and blocked the line. It counted, but didn't. I'll have to try again in a few weeks.
