Make-Up Online

Rotary eClub One
How To Complete A Make-Up

1

Read a variety of current articles in our Programs section and/or choose articles from our Archived Programs list and/or information from our Avenues of Service pages. You will be required to answer questions.  There is space on the makeup request form for up to three articles to be reviewed, however you will need to read more than three to meet your 30 minute visit obligation.

2

At the end of your 30 minute visit click on Make-up Request Form from the drop-down menu at top of page OR the bottom of each make-up program.

3

Read Makeup Request Form carefully, and follow instructions. A Make-Up Form will appear once you press the SUBMIT button (one time only) and an email copy will be sent to the email address you provided.

PRINT YOUR MAKE-UP FORM

Once your make-up appears, if you know the email address, you can also click on File, Send and email a copy to your club secretary.

Remember, as Greeter this week, you need to arrive early to ZOOM members, visiting Rotarians, and guests (collect guest lunch fee of $15.00).  You also provide the pre-meal prayer, check attendance, announce guests and visiting Rotarians, manage the marble drawing and provide "Fun & Frolics."  If you are unable to fulfill your greeter obligation, please contact the next person in the greeter rotation to take your place.

Stories
End Polio Now
• If polio is not eradicated, within 10 years, as many as 200,000 children will be paralyzed by it each year.
• In 2016, more than 450 million children were vaccinated multiple times using more than two billion doses of oral polio vaccine. This will be done every year until the world is certified polio free. Rotary funds will help do this. • To date, 122 countries have benefited from PolioPlus grants.
• Since 1988, the number of polio endemic countries declined from over 125 to three.
• At Rotary’s 2017 International Convention in Atlanta, global leaders pledged $1.2 billion to the fight to eradicate polio.
• This pledge included Rotary’s commitment to raise $50 million per year over the next three years as part of the End Polio Now: Countdown to History campaign.
• Under an expanded partnership with the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, every $1 Rotary commits to polio eradication will be matched 2-to-1 (up to $ 50 million per year).
Good thing the anti vaxers were not as prevalent in the 1950's or the success of the polio vaccine and the Rotary Polio Plus campaign might not have accomplished this much.
HONK THE HORN!
SOLD OUT!  GONE!  NO MORE!  All 1,000 (YES ONE THOUSAND) tickets to potentially win the beautiful red, orange, brown Jeep  have been sold.  Snow didn't stop Rotary.  Cold didn't stop Rotary.  Broken toes didn't stop Rotary!  Great Job Tom McGrath and his Noodlers committee.  The Woodstock Rotary Club is funded to continue service above self.  Thanks and great job to all who sold tickets over the past several months.  Grand prize drawing and FUN event on the Woodstock Square is set for Friday Night May 28th, 2021.  Be there early, say 5:00 pm and have some supper on the square.  Support those local businesses who supported us.  Show time is 6:00 pm!
Rotary Grammy Awards
The selections are in!  The voter has tabulated!  No redacting was done as all selections seemed appropriate for the audience.  And remember, I didn't send in these nominations, YOU did!  To whet your musical appetite and get the LPs spinning:  Here is the playlist of the those who submitted entries.  Hint:  Favorite songs did not always match up with the Rotarian's favorite Group!  Put on your thinking cap and try to match the Rotarian with the song.  Or try and match the Rotarian with their favorite group:  Doors, Luke Coombs, Charlie Daniels, Beatles, Def Leppard, Rolling Stones, Alice Cooper, Ozzy Osbourne, Dave Matthews Band, Foo Fighters, Midnight Oil, Rose Royce, Thee Oh Sees, Beach Boys, Simon & Garfunkel, Frank Zappa, INXS, Fleetwood Mac.
