Rotary eClub One
How To Complete A Make-Up

1

Read a variety of current articles in our Programs section and/or choose articles from our Archived Programs list and/or information from our Avenues of Service pages. You will be required to answer questions.  There is space on the makeup request form for up to three articles to be reviewed, however you will need to read more than three to meet your 30 minute visit obligation.

2

At the end of your 30 minute visit click on Make-up Request Form from the drop-down menu at top of page OR the bottom of each make-up program.

3

Read Makeup Request Form carefully, and follow instructions. A Make-Up Form will appear once you press the SUBMIT button (one time only) and an email copy will be sent to the email address you provided.

PRINT YOUR MAKE-UP FORM

Once your make-up appears, if you know the email address, you can also click on File, Send and email a copy to your club secretary.

The Final Countdown
For your consideration - a late submission to Luke's personal Grammy Awards and this week's theme song:

Great Jeep Raffle Drawing
The final drawing of our raffle of our amazing 1000 ticket raffle will be Friday, May 28th at The Public House on the Square.  Festivities will begin at 6:00 with the grand drawing at 6:30.  Appetizers will be available and a cash bar.  Did you RSVP so The Public House has a number in attendance?  If not look back through your email to May 13 for the link to sign up.

Thanks again to the Jeep Raffle Committee for all of their hard work!
Fellowships
We have a great club for fellowship. This Friday is the Jeep Raffle drawing, next Friday is the First Friday at the Lewandowskis. Fellowship is part of Rotary.

At the back of June's Rotary magazine is a small article on Rotary Fellowships which are international groups whose members share a common interest. The article included a long, but not exhaustive list of  various Fellowships.  There are dozens and dozens of Fellowships and it could be a little overwhelming to wade through so as Service Above Self - I did a little research for you:

Beverages

The Whiskey DRAM - https://whiskeydram.org/
The Whiskey D.R.A.M. fellowship (or Whiskey Drinking Rotarians and Members) was started in 2015 to allow Rotarians a Whiskey Appreciation Fellowship and was officially sanctioned by Rotary International in August 2016. It's objective is to learn more about all the whiskies of the world including bourbon, scotch, rye, sour mash and moonshine.

BREW - Beers Rotarians Enjoy Worldwide - http://www.rotarybrew.org/
The purpose of this fellowship is to foster and encourage fellowship between and among Rotarians of all nations who have a love for Beer and through this fellowship support international projects of the Rotary Foundation.

Music
The International Fellowship of Rotarian Musicians - https://ifrm.org/
The International Fellowship of Rotarian Musicians (IFRM) includes Rotarians, spouses and Rotaractors and friends who want to connect with each other through their love of music. (It is a little suspect as they encourage Clubs to sing - no one should be encouraging us to sing. They don't say anything about piano playing chickens though.)

The purpose of this fellowship is to foster and encourage fellowship among people of all nations who love metal music - such as  the Swedish band Europe and their chart topping hit from 1986 The Final Countdown - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9jK-NcRmVcw

The site is in German (as we all know, Germany is the hotbed for the free-form, rule-breaking, individualistic musical style that is jazz) but Google will translate it for you.

Ones to skip:

There is one for gin (the drink not the card game) but nobody really likes gin (the drink) - they just pretend they do.

There is one for computer users but the website link didn't work (honestly.) Hopefully the Internet Fellowship ROTI - https://roti.org/ - can help them.

There is one for lawyers - nothing more needs to be said (There isn't one for insurance - those folks can't get together - too much liability.)

There are Fellowships for golf, tennis and cricket; the environment and wildlife conservation, European Philosophy and ethics just to name a few, You can see the full list here - https://www.rotary.org/en/our-programs/more-fellowships

As we continue to enjoy our club's fellowship - take a few minutes and find a Rotary Fellowship - make new friends, explore a new interest or hobby and "enhance your Rotary experience."
Christmas in July No K
Tammy and Ryan Ortmann graciously and generously offered to host a CCH event for us this July. We are scheduled for Saturday July 24. The details need to be worked on, but the working title for the event is the

Christmas in July No k - to tie back to our Christmas in July 5k.
