How To Complete A Make-Up

1

Read a variety of current articles in our Programs section and/or choose articles from our Archived Programs list and/or information from our Avenues of Service pages. You will be required to answer questions.  There is space on the makeup request form for up to three articles to be reviewed, however you will need to read more than three to meet your 30 minute visit obligation.

2

At the end of your 30 minute visit click on Make-up Request Form from the drop-down menu at top of page OR the bottom of each make-up program.

3

Read Makeup Request Form carefully, and follow instructions. A Make-Up Form will appear once you press the SUBMIT button (one time only) and an email copy will be sent to the email address you provided.

PRINT YOUR MAKE-UP FORM

Once your make-up appears, if you know the email address, you can also click on File, Send and email a copy to your club secretary.

Remember, as the greeter, you need to arrive at Woodstock Country Club to register visiting Rotarians and guests (collect guest lunch fee of $18.00).  You also provide the pre-meal prayer, check attendance, announce guests and visiting Rotarians, manage the marble drawing and provide "Fun & Frolics."  If you are unable to fulfill your greeter obligation, please contact the next person in the greeter rotation to take your place.

Stories
This and That

From Lloyd's great bulletin last week: "The year is winding down for President Dave. His time commitment has been noteworthy. His presence at club projects has set a good example for all club members to follow. Thank you, Dave. And, of course, we transition into the new administration with a party at the Frisbie compound on June 30. Please note the instructions concerning bringing your own beverages and chairs. If we get rain in the interim, one might want to include some mosquito repellent."

Friday, June 30: Rotary Club of Woodstock Installation Dinner. Starting at 6:00PM at The Frisbie Home, 17202 US Hwy 14, Woodstock, IL, under the Party Tent at The Frisbie Home with Your Sister's Tomato. Lots of food, fun, and awesome Rotarians! This event is BYOB and BYOC (chair). Be sure to RSVP to Breanne's email invitation and note the charge for Rotarians and guests.

Friday, July 7: Deadline for Adult Vocational Scholarship applications. Our dedicated Vocational Service Director, Peter Knapp, has provided all necessary information on our website. Please encourage possible recipients to apply sooner than later!

Thursday, July 13: Would you like to meet Rotary's new President, Gordon McInally?  Here's your chance. The Evanston and Wilmette Clubs are hosting Gordon at the One Rotary Center Auditorium on Thursday, July 13th at noon. If you would like to attend, you can register by using this link: https://bit.ly/RIGordonMcInally

And finally..."Fires in northern Quebec and low pressure over the eastern Great Lakes are sending smoke through northern Michigan, and across southern Wisconsin and Chicago, said Bryan Jackson, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service." More from Tuesday's AP article on the topic can be found here.
