Make-Up Online

Rotary eClub One
How To Complete A Make-Up

1

Read a variety of current articles in our Programs section and/or choose articles from our Archived Programs list and/or information from our Avenues of Service pages. You will be required to answer questions.  There is space on the makeup request form for up to three articles to be reviewed, however you will need to read more than three to meet your 30 minute visit obligation.

2

At the end of your 30 minute visit click on Make-up Request Form from the drop-down menu at top of page OR the bottom of each make-up program.

3

Read Makeup Request Form carefully, and follow instructions. A Make-Up Form will appear once you press the SUBMIT button (one time only) and an email copy will be sent to the email address you provided.

PRINT YOUR MAKE-UP FORM

Once your make-up appears, if you know the email address, you can also click on File, Send and email a copy to your club secretary.

Remember, as Greeter this week, you need to arrive at Woodstock Country Club, to register visiting Rotarians, and guests (collect guest lunch fee of $20.00).  You also provide the pre-meal prayer, check attendance, announce guests and visiting Rotarians, manage the marble drawing and provide "Fun & Frolics."  If you are unable to fulfill your greeter obligation, please contact the next person in the greeter rotation to take your place.

Extension Club Success!
The bulletin was delayed a day to be able to report to the club on last night's Extension Club kick-off. Thanks to the leadership of President Laura, President-Elect Joe, President-Nominee and Secretary Jackie - and all the hard work of our board and club - we signed up eight new Rotarians last night. That is a 20% bump in our membership.

Additionally, we have several more people interested in the Club. And room for more beyond that.

Given the unusual circumstances, instead of sending out 8 emails, please consider this the official notification for the club's review of proposed new members. While they have not all been to meetings, they have all been involved and connected to the work of Rotary and the community for years. If you have questions about the above, please feel free to contact their sponsors.

One of the questions asked last night was - when clubs and organizations across the country struggle with membership, how is it that we are maintaining and growing? Everyone had their own answers and perspectives - but the theme was consistent - we all have a common commitment to improving our community with the opportunity to bring our unique passions to the table. And we have developed friendships - lifelong in many instances through the club. That is the power of Rotary. And the strength of the Rotary Club of Woodstock.

All the proposed members have all been invited to attend the March 4 Recognition event and our First Friday. Hopefully they can attend and we will make new friends and deepening our impact on the community.

Go team!
Jeep Tickets for sale
We have 346 tickets remaining to be sold.  Our Reno angel bought 40 tickets last week. At this point every ticket sold goes back to our community - Woodstock and the world - Fueling Futures, Vocational and Service scholarships, Short-term exchanges - a great deal of our community efforts are possible through this raffle. Let's get that down to 0!

Our next early bird drawing is March 7 at Kishwaukee. Be sure to get any tickets sold before then. The team established noon on March 7 as the online deadline for entry into the early bird drawing. And it also happens to be our next First Friday - come for food (Stix and Noodles), beverages (beer and cider, soft drinks) and fellowship and fun (this doesn't need a parenthetical comment as it's obvious how it has fellowship and fun.)

Rotary Recognition Night--March 4
Our Rotary Recognition Night is March 4 from 6:30 to 8:30 at Stage Left Cafe. This is an opportunity for our club to in part honor community members who have given to our club and community.

The event has only the basic information in case people were wanting to surprise their awardees. If you have questions, please contact John Buckley.
