There is space on the makeup request form for up to three articles to be reviewed, however you will need to read more than three to meet your 30 minute visit obligation.

At the end of your 30 minute visit click on Make-up Request Form from the drop-down menu at top of page OR the bottom of each make-up program.

Read Makeup Request Form carefully, and follow instructions. A Make-Up Form will appear once you press the SUBMIT button (one time only) and an email copy will be sent to the email address you provided.

Offer a brief reflection or words of gratitude before the meal—something thoughtful in the spirit of Rotary service
Take attendance
Introduce guests
Manage the marble drawing
Lead "Fun & Frolics"
If you are unable to serve on your scheduled date, please contact the next person in the greeter rotation to arrange a substitute.

We’ve got returning partners and lots of brand-new ones — and more want to sign up! Dorothy’s Book Bonanza! Dorothy has boxes and boxes of donated books ready to go in this year’s gift bags — and she keeps finding more treasures!

Warehouse Work Days December 15–18 Tom and Breanne will share updates and let us know what’s needed as we get closer.
Delivery Day – December 20! We’ll need a small crew at the warehouse but lots of drivers to help deliver. If you’re not assigned a warehouse role, please plan to drive — many hands make light work (and too many in one place cause chaos 😉).

Earlier this week, Kim Turner emailed the club about the Culver's fundraising night next week -
We have our Culver's Share Night coming up next Wednesday, November 12th, from 4-8pm.
Please consider dining out that night to raise some funds.
Also, I am looking for some folks to volunteer that night. I have a couple high school kids coming, but could use a few more, 6-8pm. Duties would include, greeting, running food and clean up if necessary.

At Friday's meeting, Tim Benoy served as Greeter and his fun and frolics was on Halloween - its origins as a Celtic celebration Samhain through today where Americans spend $13b on costumes, candy and decorations (including $750m on pet costumes.) The two most popular costumes in the past few years are Spiderman and Princess.
This year, Myles and I tracked the costumes that came to the door - the two leading costumes were a shark and vampire at three each, while there was just one Spiderman and one Princess. The Justice League came as a unity, there were two Kylo Ren although their grandfather Darth Vader came separately. There were old school horror characters - Michael Myers, Chucky and The Bride of Chucky.
And one young man did not know what he was dressed as - it was what his mom made him wear. We categorized that as "Parent's Choice."
In addition to the traditional candy - Hershey's, Reeces, gummy bears - we gave out 30 packets of ramen, 20 single serve cans of Pringles and almost 10 pounds of potatoes.
All in all, Myles and I contributed about $70 to the $13b spent this year - including the three pumpkins I bought a couple weeks ago.

It costs on average approximately $1.00 to vaccinate a child against polio in Afghanistan and Pakistan, including the cost of the drops and of logistics including transportation, vaccinator stipends, refrigeration, chalk to mark houses after each visit, and dye to paint children’s fingernails purple to indicate they've been reached. A child must receive multiple doses of the polio vaccine over time to be fully protected.
