It's crunch time for CCH. Fridays meeting will be at the warehouse which is the same site as last year- the Silgen building on the East side of Lake Ave out past Jarvis's office. Some important directions. Tom Nierman will be sending out individual assignments for delivery day work stations. Plan on being in position and ready to go by 8:30. If you don't have an assigned job, then don't show up to work as this will just create confusion. But please help by driving. It's going to be cold and that will probably reduce the number of volunteers from the community that show up to drive. So, we still need your help as a driver!!! Dress warmly and use hand warmers inside of your gloves or better yet, insulated mittens. Cover your ears. Next item is post-delivery party at the Moose. They will not be ready for us until after 12 noon. So, we all need to stick around and help pick up the ware-house and hold off arriving at the Moose Lodge until after 12. Keep Jim and Mimi in your thoughts as they face their medical issues. Jim is now in the Woodstock Hospital Rehab center room 217. As winter sets in, we need to keep the bird feeders filled and bird bath heaters in place. Hiking trails in the woods protected from the wind are still a nice way to exercise. See you Friday. |
