How To Complete A Make-Up

1

Read a variety of current articles in our Programs section and/or choose articles from our Archived Programs list and/or information from our Avenues of Service pages. You will be required to answer questions.  There is space on the makeup request form for up to three articles to be reviewed, however you will need to read more than three to meet your 30 minute visit obligation.

2

At the end of your 30 minute visit click on Make-up Request Form from the drop-down menu at top of page OR the bottom of each make-up program.

3

Read Makeup Request Form carefully, and follow instructions. A Make-Up Form will appear once you press the SUBMIT button (one time only) and an email copy will be sent to the email address you provided.

PRINT YOUR MAKE-UP FORM

Once your make-up appears, if you know the email address, you can also click on File, Send and email a copy to your club secretary.

Remember, as Greeter this week, you need to arrive early at Oliver's to register visiting Rotarians and guests (collect guest lunch fee of $16.00). You also provide the pre-meal prayer, check attendance, announce guests and visiting Rotarians, manage the marble drawing and provide "Fun & Frolics." If you are unable to fulfill your greeter obligation, please contact the next person in the greeter rotation to take your place.

Stories
You know what day Sunday June 19th  2022 is?  FATHERS DAY!!!

Enjoy the Day as a father, son, and/or grandfather.  So, to prep for Father’s Day, let’s think of our 10 favorite beers (in no particular order, I mean, it’s BEER):
  • Beer while tailgating at your favorite sporting event.  In a red solo cup, of course.
  • Beer while sitting by the camp fire.  At one with the world.  Nature.
  • Sitting in your backyard beer.  Enough said.
  • The kids are finally asleep beer.  You love them all.  Just don’t say Ahhh too loud.  For obvious reasons.
  • The impromptu beer.  Simple and rewardingly delicious.
  • Beer while grilling.  Again.  Self-explanatory.
  • After work beer.  Skip the cup of coffee.  Grab your favorite beer and relax after a hard day’s work.
  • The famous Lawnmower Beer.  You’re thirsty.  Water is overrated…
  • Shower beer.  See impromptu beer above.
  • Beer with Dad/Mom/Kids/BFFs.
Perhaps you were looking for a different type of top 10 list.  Watch for future bulletins.
Installation Dinner!
 Speaking of beer!
Installation Dinner is being held at a Brewery.  Kishwaukee Brewing 1900 Dillard Ct, Woodstock, IL 60098.  Be there to Thank Shawna and her board of directors for a year well done.  Welcome Dave and the new board of directors.  Friday June 24th 2022 at 6:00 pm.  There will be tickets for food and beer as part of your meal.  When your tickets run out, make sure you have cash if you want to keep celebrating.  Unfortunately, I will be at a continuing ed class that week. National Homebrewers Convention!  I’ll be with you all on Friday night in beer spirit.

Big Mac
Not the sandwich, our new Rotary Intern!  Have you met him?  What a genuine and likeable young man.  He actually enjoys archiving the Box o’ Rotary!  Some of that stuff is probably older than he is…  Last Friday, Mac was equipped with the laptop and was flashing around 20-year photos of Rotary Fun(d) Raiser events.  If he thought there was a lot of material in that box, wait till he gets all the electronically saved Rotary information I have in outlook folders.  No wonder my computer seems to be running slow.   AND NOW, put this on your calendar:  July 22, 2022.  Big Mac will be the program, presenting to us our life in Rotary-Archived forever!  Do not miss this meeting!!!
