Our annual holiday social meeting. No program, just internal conversation and getting to know you. Thanks to Laura and Jackie for putting together the 'mixer'! We found out that Ann Hughes was involved in many, many interests! Each Rotarian was given an index to write down a couple of interests that they had. No names were put on the cards. Jackie and Laura collected them and then we drew the cards out of the basket and had to guess who wrote those interests on the cards. Very fun. It is surprise how quickly time goes by and we sit, volunteer, talk and eat with our club members and do not really know much about their personal interests. Very fun getting to RE-know your fellow Rotarian. Thanks again Jackie and Laura. Unrelated to the getting to know you game, a fellow Rotarian's daughter got engaged over the Christmas Holiday. Ask around and you will learn much. |
