Last night was the perfect night at Stage Left to celebrate our clubs successes. It takes a celebration like that to realize all we do in the community, and the number of people in our club, and from the community, that contribute to all of the good that Rotary stands for. Congratulation to all of the new Paul Harris Fellows. And a special thanks to Jim Potthast for making several of the presentations possible. All efforts should now be on the Jeep Raffel. Tim and Tom shoulder a disproportionate amount of the project load. We all need to help with the manning of appearances of the jeep at events and selling tickets to our friends and associates. This Friday is another drawing to be held at our First Friday event at Kishwaukee Brewing. If tickets are sold between now and then, please bring the stubs and money to the Friday meeting. Don't wait till Friday evening to turn them in. Remember that Jean and Lynn can always help with the Literacy Project. I'm sure those book boxes get heavy carrying them to events to be distributed. Sand Hill Cranes have been spotted, and the Eagles are remodeling their nest for occupation. Bottom line--Spring is just around the corner. Predictions of 70 degrees next week are certainly encouraging. Between the rain showers and the periods of hurricane winds, get out and spot the emerging wild flowers.
