Make-Up Online

Rotary eClub One
How To Complete A Make-Up

1

Read a variety of current articles in our Programs section and/or choose articles from our Archived Programs list and/or information from our Avenues of Service pages. You will be required to answer questions.  There is space on the makeup request form for up to three articles to be reviewed, however you will need to read more than three to meet your 30 minute visit obligation.

2

At the end of your 30 minute visit click on Make-up Request Form from the drop-down menu at top of page OR the bottom of each make-up program.

3

Read Makeup Request Form carefully, and follow instructions. A Make-Up Form will appear once you press the SUBMIT button (one time only) and an email copy will be sent to the email address you provided.

PRINT YOUR MAKE-UP FORM

Once your make-up appears, if you know the email address, you can also click on File, Send and email a copy to your club secretary.

Remember, as Greeter this week, you need to arrive at Woodstock Country Club, to register visiting
Rotarians, and guests (collect guest lunch fee of $20.00).  You also provide the pre-meal prayer, check attendance, announce guests and visiting Rotarians, manage the marble drawing and provide "Fun & Frolics."  If you are unable to fulfill your greeter obligation, please contact the next person in the greeter rotation to take your place.

Stories
Santa Hut deconstruction
After 40 + years, Santa’s Hut required too much repair work for the elves.  The elves already had a heavy schedule getting ready for Christmas deliveries each year.  Where would they find time to repair an old hut?  So the time had come to take it apart.  Gently.  With revered care.  Dodging wasps who had taken up residence.  Not touching mouse nests etc. that were present.  Tom Nierman organized the crew to handle the deconstruction of a hut well used and loved – Santa’s Hut.  Al Schmitt, Jim Ponstein, Butch Schnulle, Ed Zuwarski, Jackie Speciale with two of her children, Katlyn & Sam, and me.  Tom brought his big dumpster truck while Ed and Butch showed us how to correctly load a dumpster (who knew).  Jim P knew as he remembered his Dad saying:  Pack it correctly because it is ALL going in there!  Thank you all for this effort.  No photos were taken out of respect for the task at hand.
Rotarians answer the call!
We were down to 3 bulletin writers.  You had heard enough from us.  You wanted variety.  You want originality.  When the plea went out for additional bulletin writers, Kim Keefe was the first to respond after READING the bulletin.  At the Fairgrounds, a verbal request was made-Diana F raised her hand, Scott Brix raised his hand and just like that we were up to 6 bulletin writers.  Last week’s meeting had our newest member, John Hegner volunteer to write the bulletin.  7 writers!  Lucky #7.  We just need one more.  It would be great for that next writer to be from the extension club.  I know there is at least one person who will step up to join the writers’ circle.  Who will it be…?
First Friday September 5th!
Here is the last summer date of fun for First Fridays:

Friday (but you knew that) September 5 @ Kingston Lanes.  Go to the outside bar behind the building.  By the volleyball courts and bag courts.  The bar is covered in case of rain and may not have a spot for everyone underneath.  BUT never fear, there is an excellent space and bar area in the front of the bowling alley - INSIDE!  Put this on your calendar.
