In case you missed it - Woodstock Willie saw his shadow - the first sunny day in five weeks had to be Thursday. We are facing six more weeks of winter!
And to just give that extra kick in the teeth - none of us reading this (or writing this) won the early bird drawing for the Jeep raffle. Apparently, the Jeep Committee has been extra good at selling tickets this year and competition was high.
But Friday made it all worth it. We had a great turnout for First Friday at Wayne's Lanes. If you didn't make it, be sure to go check it out. Ed and some handy elves have helped update and freshen it up.
We even got a picture of our Rotarians, families and friends with Woodstock Willie.
A handful of things to take away from the photo
- Willie is a brave rodent to walk around town after committing us to six more weeks of winter.
- If you look at the photo, only Lloyd and Dave were drinking.
- I also don't know what kind of isolated but strong gravitational pull Willie has, but he was pulling the whole first row down into crouches.
We have had two great turnouts in a row for First Friday. Let's keep that going.
