As Irish tradition declares: when silverware hits the floor, someone’s coming to your door. A knife dropping (watch your toes) means a male visitor’s coming (most likely your neighbor looking to borrow your expensive tools, again), a fork falling signifies a lady is on her way (excellent), and a spoon clinking on the hardwood is a sign of a future child visitor — which in that case, here’s hoping said child is at least selling Girl Scout Cookies, because those are delicious. |

Itchy Palms Means Money is Coming to or Leaving You |

| Itchy palms means you’re in dire need of hand repair balm, but interpreting it as a few extra dollars about to land in your paw is also pretty favorable. Legend has it that an itchy left palm signals an incoming flow of cash (though apparently you have to also spit in your hand for that to come into fruition — sounds like easy money to us) and an itchy right palm is a telltale sign of having to cough up money soon.
