For those who attended the conference, what do you plan to do with what you heard and learned this past Saturday? How will you present it and put it into action with your club? I asked those participating in the breakouts I was moderating on Saturday how many had a strategic plan. Very few hands went up. Without a plan, how are you measuring progress to ensure your work is making a difference in the community. A plan provides continuous action to your vision from year to year to ensure you are being accountable to your club and community. A plan also helps members tell your club's story.
If your club does not have a strategic plan, now is a good time to start the process, especially with this year's focus on the "Action Plan". There are a number of tools on the Rotary website to help you build a plan and I encourage you to check them out. I have attached several for your consideration. In addition, PDG Mike Ericksen is now in the process of offering Visioning Sessions to help guide your club on developing a plan for the future.
