Marlene says, out of 58 Rotary clubs and 2 Rotaract clubs, there are only 6 (including our Woodstock) that are over $1,000,000 lifetime giving.

The Rotary Club of Woodstock has reached an impressive milestone: more than $1 million in lifetime giving to The Rotary Foundation since our club was chartered in 1968.

Marlene Frisbie shared the good news at our Friday, August 21 meeting, highlighting the remarkable generosity of Woodstock Rotarians over nearly six decades. As of July 1, our club’s all-time giving totals $1,067,769.

Those contributions support Rotary’s work both close to home and around the world—from fighting polio and improving health to supporting education, clean water, economic development and peacebuilding.

It’s a milestone worth celebrating—and a powerful reminder of what can happen when generations of Rotarians put Service Above Self into action.
