Make-Up Online

Rotary eClub One
How To Complete A Make-Up

1

Read a variety of current articles in our Programs section and/or choose articles from our Archived Programs list and/or information from our Avenues of Service pages. You will be required to answer questions.  There is space on the makeup request form for up to three articles to be reviewed, however you will need to read more than three to meet your 30 minute visit obligation.

2

At the end of your 30 minute visit click on Make-up Request Form from the drop-down menu at top of page OR the bottom of each make-up program.

3

Read Makeup Request Form carefully, and follow instructions. A Make-Up Form will appear once you press the SUBMIT button (one time only) and an email copy will be sent to the email address you provided.

PRINT YOUR MAKE-UP FORM

Once your make-up appears, if you know the email address, you can also click on File, Send and email a copy to your club secretary.

Remember, as Greeter this week, you need to arrive early to ZOOM members, visiting Rotarians, and guests (collect guest lunch fee of $15.00).  You also provide the pre-meal prayer, check attendance, announce guests and visiting Rotarians, manage the marble drawing and provide "Fun & Frolics."  If you are unable to fulfill your greeter obligation, please contact the next person in the greeter rotation to take your place.

Club Happenings
Last week was our first try at a hybrid meeting.  It was accomplished with some hic-ups, but MiMi got the job done.  It is difficult with so many lap tops trying to capture the real time meeting and transport the images to the Zoom participants.  The speaker programs have been a success via Zoom.  This week will be a strictly Zoom meeting.  We need to continue recruiting for the Blood drive Sept. 2.  And the first planning meeting for the new CCH was held with more meetings and decisions to follow.  Marlene updated us on the Rotary County Group and the by-laws have been established.  It's slow going with the social slow down.
Country Ramblings:   We have had a real summer this year with temperatures rising above 90 on several days.  And with pools closed and travel limited it has been difficult to enjoy the heat by spending time in the water.  People have been staying home and enjoying their own back yards and spending time improving their surroundings. Vacation money is being spent on home and garden improvements.  Camper sales are way up and camp grounds are full as the populace attempts to travel while maintaining social distancing.  But we are all surviving and trying to make the most of a difficult situation. Fall is right around the corner and we will see the leaves starting to turn.  A beautiful time of year to hike.  Fall bird migration will begin soon and we will have a chance to see those birds that only pass through Spring and Fall.  But you can't enjoy the out doors unless you get out doors.  So get on with it.

Keep Ann in your thoughts.  See you on Zoom Friday.

(Please notice the appropriate use of your and you're in the title!)

This Friday, and the third Friday of every month is our club's Board Meeting. President Mimi "Peanuts" Motroni would like to remind you that all members are welcome to attend board meetings. If you are interested, just let her or Marlene "Money Bags" Frisbie know so they can send you the Zoom link.
