Make-Up Online

Rotary eClub One
How To Complete A Make-Up

1

Read a variety of current articles in our Programs section and/or choose articles from our Archived Programs list and/or information from our Avenues of Service pages. You will be required to answer questions.  There is space on the makeup request form for up to three articles to be reviewed, however you will need to read more than three to meet your 30 minute visit obligation.

2

At the end of your 30 minute visit click on Make-up Request Form from the drop-down menu at top of page OR the bottom of each make-up program.

3

Read Makeup Request Form carefully, and follow instructions. A Make-Up Form will appear once you press the SUBMIT button (one time only) and an email copy will be sent to the email address you provided.

PRINT YOUR MAKE-UP FORM

Once your make-up appears, if you know the email address, you can also click on File, Send and email a copy to your club secretary.

Remember, as Greeter this week, you need to arrive early to ZOOM members, visiting Rotarians, and guests (collect guest lunch fee of $15.00).  You also provide the pre-meal prayer, check attendance, announce guests and visiting Rotarians, manage the marble drawing and provide "Fun & Frolics."  If you are unable to fulfill your greeter obligation, please contact the next person in the greeter rotation to take your place.

Spiced Pork and hAM
Recently, our email was sent from a new email provider. But like any new delivery guy, he can occasionally screw up and place your mail in the wrong place. If our email makes into your spam folder, just mark it as “not spam,” and in the future, it will arrive in your inbox.
Your email's spam folder is like that sketchy area behind the old Ponderosa where that one dude is trying to sell you drugs and another dude is trying to get your PayPal password. Needless to say, The Spinning Wheel doesn't like to hang out in the spam folder. Rotary appreciates you taking this small step so the Spinning Wheel doesn't have to fraternize with any "long lost uncles trying to send you money" any longer than it has to.

We don't mind hanging out with this SPAM though.

Speaking of SPAM folders...
Guess where I found this:  SERIOUSLY.  LOL.  True Story.

The Woodstock Moose Lodge is once again holding a Burger Night and the proceeds will benefit CCH.
If you haven't had a burger from the Moose you are missing one of the best deals in town.

You can place a to-go-order or you can social distance and enjoy the fellowship in the very big Lodge.

Phyllis Close just asked me to try and give a head count of how many people will be coming from our club. So please let me know if you will be going.

Thanks.

Quote of the Week

"If you're not making mistakes, then you're not doing anything. I'm positive that a doer makes mistakes."

John Wooden

Rotarians are doers.  Sometimes we make mistakes.  And then we get right back up, dust ourselves off and get back to work.

It's Your Board and You're Welcome
(Please notice the appropriate use of your and you're in the title!)

The third Friday of every month is our club's Board Meeting. President Mimi "Peanuts" Motroni would like to remind you that all members are welcome to attend board meetings. If you are interested, just let her or Marlene "Money Bags" Frisbie know so they can send you the Zoom link.

And it turns out that there is website that will generate Mob Names on demand - https://themobmuseum.org/nickname-generator/
