Make-Up Online

Rotary eClub One
How To Complete A Make-Up

1

Read a variety of current articles in our Programs section and/or choose articles from our Archived Programs list and/or information from our Avenues of Service pages. You will be required to answer questions.  There is space on the makeup request form for up to three articles to be reviewed, however you will need to read more than three to meet your 30 minute visit obligation.

2

At the end of your 30 minute visit click on Make-up Request Form from the drop-down menu at top of page OR the bottom of each make-up program.

3

Read Makeup Request Form carefully, and follow instructions. A Make-Up Form will appear once you press the SUBMIT button (one time only) and an email copy will be sent to the email address you provided.

PRINT YOUR MAKE-UP FORM

Once your make-up appears, if you know the email address, you can also click on File, Send and email a copy to your club secretary.

Meal Train-Myles Buckley Update

Round 5-Please click the link to sign up for the Meal Train.

Posted 04/23/2020 by John Buckley

This is week 9 and Round 5 of chemo. This week and next are the chemo med Methotrexate. It is a longer stay in the hospital - but the effects are less than the Cisplantin weeks. We are hopefully breaking free this evening. On Monday, Myles and I met with the surgeon to plan for his surgery. That date has been set - May 5 - which is keeping with the original timeline laid out back in February. With the uncertainties around CoVid-19, there was a possibility that surgery could be delayed. That is good news. There is one more round of chemo next week - another dose of Methotrexate, so Myles will be back down on Monday again. Yesterday was a full day - we had a consult with the plastic surgeon that is part of his surgery team (she is going to be moving part of his calf muscle around to use to reattach the knee cap and tendons) a nuerology and a cardiology consult as well. In the afternoon, we played a new board game - King of Tokyo. I won. Today may include more of that or some Magic The Gathering, some cartoons and fingers crossed - a departure.

Which Zoomer are You?
There are 8 types of Zoomers.  Are we able to place a Rotarian in each category?  Read the article below (you have the time) and sign in tomorrow!

Humor is good-Isolation Quarantine Diary.

Day 21 – I Can Do This!!  Got enough food and wine to last a month!
Day 22 – Opening my 18th bottle of Wine.  I fear wine supplies might not last!
Day 23 – Strawberries:  Some have 210 seeds, some have 235 seeds.  Who Knew??
Day 24 – 8:00pm.  Removed my Day Pajamas and put on my Night Pajamas.
Day 25 – Today, I tried to make Hand Sanitizer.  It came out as Jello Shots!!
Day 26 – I get to take the Garbage out.  I’m So excited, I can’t decide what to wear.
Day 27 – Laughing way too much at my own jokes!!
Day 28 – Went to a new restaurant called “The Kitchen”.  You have to gather all the ingredients and make your own meal.  I have No clue how this place is still in business.
Day 29 – I put liquor bottles in every room.  Tonight, I’m getting all dressed up and going Bar hopping.
Day 30 – Struck up a conversation with a Spider today.  Seems nice.  He’s a Web Designer.
Day 31 – Isolation is hard.  I swear my fridge just said, “What the hell do you want now?”
Day 32 – I realized why dogs get so excited about something moving outside, going for walks or car rides.  I think I just barked at a squirrel.
Day 33 – If you keep a glass of beer in each hand, you can’t accidently touch your face.
Day 34 – Watched the birds fight over a worm.  The Cardinals lead the Blue Jays 3–1.
Day 35 – Anybody else feel like they’ve cooked dinner about 395 times this month?
